Mahindra Raises Vehicle Prices by Up to 2.7% as Input Costs Climb

Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra has announced an average price increase of 2.7% across its sport utility vehicle range and 2% for its commercial vehicles, effective July 10, 2026.

The automaker attributed the revision primarily to escalating commodity costs, which have increased pressure on vehicle production expenses.

Mahindra said the exact increase would vary depending on the individual product. The company did not disclose model-wise revisions or updated prices for specific SUVs and commercial vehicles.

The move means customers considering a Mahindra vehicle may face different levels of increase depending on the model and variant selected. In other words, the 2.7% figure is an average rather than a universal addition to every price tag.

The revision covers Mahindra’s SUV and commercial vehicle portfolios, two segments that form a significant part of the company’s automotive business.

The price increase takes effect on July 10, giving the announcement a notably short runway before reaching showrooms. Its broader impact will depend on how the revised prices are distributed across Mahindra’s models and whether rising commodity costs continue to influence vehicle pricing in the coming months.
