Maserati Names Navnit Motors as Official Partner for Western and Central India

Mumbai: Maserati has appointed Navnit Motors as its official dealer partner for Western and Central India, as the Italian luxury carmaker strengthens its retail and aftersales presence in key Indian markets. The new entity, Navnit Maserati, will manage sales and service operations across the region, with Mumbai set to become the central hub for the brand’s next phase of expansion.

The appointment follows Maserati’s addition of retail partners in Delhi and Bangalore last year. With Navnit Motors now taking charge of the Western and Central markets, Maserati is aiming to ensure a smooth transition for existing customers while preparing for future demand from India’s growing luxury car audience. In other words, the Trident is sharpening its Indian pitchfork.

Navnit Maserati will operate as a single point of contact for clients in the region, handling both sales and aftersales services. An upcoming facility in Mumbai will include a showroom and workshop built according to Maserati’s global retail identity and service standards. The facility will also offer manufacturer-approved service, genuine spare parts, client consultation lounges and a configuration area for Maserati’s Fuoriserie customisation programme.

The move comes at a time when demand for high-end vehicles in India continues to rise, supported by growing interest in luxury, performance and personalised ownership experiences. Maserati said the partnership with Navnit Motors is part of its broader regional retail strategy, focused on working with select partners in important markets to offer long-term care to both existing and future clients.

“India represents a highly important growth opportunity for Maserati, driven by an increasingly discerning luxury clientele that expects not only extraordinary automobiles, but also an ownership experience defined by exclusivity, attention, and genuine customer centricity,” stated Maher Abdalla, Managing Director, Maserati Middle East Africa, India, and Turkey. “At Maserati, customer centricity is not simply a principle—it is a commitment to bringing the brand closer to our clients, understanding their expectations, and serving them with the care, elegance, and personal attention that true luxury demands. The Western and Central regions are fundamental to this vision, and the development of our presence in India reflects our ambition to be closer to our customers at every stage of their journey with Maserati.”

Abdalla further added, “Over the past year, we have expanded our network with partners in Delhi and Bangalore, and the addition of Navnit Motors in Mumbai marks another important step in strengthening our ability to serve clients across Western and Central India. With its strong experience in the high-end luxury automotive sector, Navnit Motors will help us further elevate the Maserati experience, ensuring continuity, trust, and a seamless standard of care for every Maserati already on the road, while supporting the next phase of growth for the brand in India.”

Navnit Motors has experience in managing luxury automotive brands and will now apply that expertise to Maserati’s ultra-luxury portfolio in India. The company said its focus will be on matching the character of the Italian marque with a personalised and reliable ownership journey. Because when someone buys a Maserati, “please take a token and wait” is not exactly the expected soundtrack.

“The group is appointed to represent Maserati as its official partner for Western and Central India,” said Sharad Kachalia, Chairman and Managing Director, Navnit Maserati. “As the demand for high-end luxury cars and Italian luxury scales, the objective is to match the character of the Trident brand with an ownership experience that feels considered, reliable, and personal for every client. Given the history of the group with performance marques, we expect to participate in the development of the luxury market in India and serve the clientele of Maserati.”

Maserati also acknowledged the contribution of its previous retail representative in Mumbai and said it is working to ensure that existing customers experience a direct transition to the new setup without disruption.

With the new Mumbai facility in the pipeline and Navnit Motors taking regional responsibility, Maserati’s India strategy appears focused not just on selling cars, but on building a sharper, more consistent luxury ownership experience. For Western and Central India’s Maserati clientele, the Trident now has a new address to call home.
