New Delhi, India – BYD India, a subsidiary of the global New Energy Vehicle (NEV) leader BYD, has officially announced the launch of its latest electric MPV, the BYD eMax 7. Positioned as the successor to India’s pioneering electric MPV, the All-New e6, the eMax 7 aims to redefine the standards of performance, comfort, and sustainability for the Indian market.
The BYD eMax 7 marks the next chapter in BYD’s commitment to innovative, eco-friendly mobility. Designed with the modern Indian family in mind, the vehicle boasts cutting-edge technology, combining luxury with practicality, and promises an elevated driving experience. The new model replaces the BYD All-New e6, which had been leading the charge in India’s electric MPV sector.
The name ‘eMax 7’ reflects the vehicle’s electric drive (‘e’), maximized performance (‘Max’), and its generational leap forward (‘7’) over the previous model. It encapsulates BYD’s core philosophy of pushing the boundaries of electric vehicles, delivering superior capabilities, and meeting the evolving demands of the market.
