Lamborghini Unveils Telemetry X for Enhanced Track Driving Experience

Las Vegas/Sant’Agata Bolognese, January 9, 2023 – At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Automobili Lamborghini has taken a significant leap forward in the world of super sports cars with the introduction of Telemetry X, a cutting-edge ‘track connectivity’ system. Lamborghini’s Chairman and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, made the announcement at the Accenture Innovation Hub, highlighting Lamborghini’s commitment to innovation, as evidenced by their recent models such as the Revuelto and the Lanzador fully-electric concept car.

Telemetry X is set to redefine the track driving experience for Lamborghini’s future supercar models. This concept integrates three revolutionary systems: the Real Time Remote Garage, the Biometric Data System, and the Digital Co-Pilot. Developed in partnership with Accenture, these technologies promise a more immersive driving experience, drawing upon Lamborghini’s extensive motorsport expertise.

The Huracán STO, launched in 2020, was the first Lamborghini model to incorporate a telemetry system accessible through the Unica app. Building on this foundation, Telemetry X represents a significant step forward. The system’s Remote Garage, powered by 5G technology, offers real-time video and telemetry, enabling remote coaching from anywhere in the world. This feature enhances the track experience by providing immediate feedback and suggestions to improve driver performance.

In addition to the Remote Garage, the Biometric Data System plays a crucial role. It monitors the driver’s biometric data, such as heart rate and stress levels, providing valuable insights for performance optimization and training refinement.

The third component, the Digital Co-Pilot, is a proactive voice assistant that analyzes both biometric and vehicle data. It offers real-time feedback on racing lines, braking points, and car performance, helping drivers maximize their potential on the track.

Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini’s Chief Technical Officer, emphasized the importance of Telemetry X in transferring motorsport technology to road-going super sports cars, aiming to elevate the track experience for Lamborghini customers. The Revuelto, known for its innovative technologies, serves as the perfect testbed for this technological demonstrator.

Telemetry X is not just a technological marvel; it’s a vision of the future where technology and human skill blend seamlessly to create an unparalleled driving experience. Lamborghini’s latest innovation is set to revolutionize the world of super sports cars, making the thrill of track driving more accessible, enjoyable, and performance-oriented than ever before.
