NEW DELHI — Kia India is proving that commitment doesn’t have to expire at five years. The automaker has just announced a generous upgrade to its Extended Warranty Program, now covering customers for up to 7 years of stress-free motoring — or roughly the time it takes to binge-watch every K-drama ever made while waiting for your next car upgrade.
Under the new plan, owners of the Seltos, Sonet, Syros, and Carens can now stretch their peace of mind to 7 years from the date of delivery. Both new buyers and existing owners can join the long-term club: existing 5-year warranty holders can upgrade to a 5+2-year plan starting at ₹32,170, while new customers can opt straight for the 7-year coverage beginning at ₹47,249 (excluding taxes).
The upgrade, available at any authorized Kia dealership across India, ensures that everything from engine hiccups to “Why is this light blinking?” moments are handled by the experts — not by your neighborhood mechanic armed with a YouTube tutorial.
Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Kia India, stated,
“Kia India is deeply committed to enhancing customer benefits and ensuring complete peace of mind. By extending our warranty coverage up to 7 years, we reaffirm our confidence in the durability and quality of our vehicles, while ensuring continued support through our authorized service network.”
In essence, Kia isn’t just offering an extended warranty — it’s offering extended trust, and perhaps saving many family WhatsApp groups from heated “which brand is more reliable” debates.
