Mumbai – In a strategic move aimed at bolstering accessibility and enhancing its omnichannel presence, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has partnered with the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). This collaboration enables government departments and agencies to directly procure Volkswagen’s GNCAP 5-Star rated vehicles, including the Taigun SUVW and the Virtus premium midsize sedan.
GeM, an innovative online marketplace set up by the Government of India, serves as a centralized procurement platform, streamlining the process for government departments, public sector units (PSUs), and autonomous and local bodies. Through this association, government buyers can now access Volkswagen’s premium mobility solutions at competitive rates for both singular and bulk purchases.
