Tata Motors Unveils New Ace EV 1000, Boosts Electric Last-Mile Mobility

Launch marks significant progress in e-cargo transportation with enhanced payload and extended range

Mumbai, 9th May 2024: Tata Motors, India’s foremost commercial vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its electric last-mile mobility solutions by introducing the all-new Tata Ace EV 1000. The advanced, zero-emission mini-truck is designed to redefine last-mile delivery with a higher-rated payload of 1 tonne and a certified range of 161 km per charge. Developed with valuable customer insights, this vehicle caters to the ever-evolving requirements of sectors like FMCG, beverages, paints & lubricants, LPG, and dairy.

Boasting an extensive network of over 150 Electric Vehicle Support Centres nationwide, the Ace EV 1000 is fortified with an advanced battery management system, Tata’s proprietary Fleet Edge telematics system, and robust components to ensure top-tier reliability. Additionally, this latest offering leverages the Tata UniEVerse, an integrated ecosystem that collaborates with other Tata Group companies and leading financiers to deliver comprehensive e-cargo mobility solutions. The Ace EV 1000, available with flexible cargo decks, will be accessible through all Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships across India.

The Ace EV 1000 features Tata’s Evogen powertrain, providing a smooth driving experience with a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package. Enhanced with an advanced battery cooling system and regenerative braking for greater efficiency, the mini-truck ensures reliable, all-weather operations. The 27 kW (36 hp) motor delivers 130 Nm of peak torque, ensuring best-in-class acceleration and gradeability even when fully loaded. Supporting both regular and fast charging, it maximizes uptime and minimizes downtime, providing unparalleled convenience for businesses seeking efficient last-mile mobility solutions.
