Pune: Jeep India has launched the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition, a limited-run version of its premium SUV created to mark the brand’s 85th anniversary globally. Production has been restricted to 85 units across India, with prices for the Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary range starting at ₹26.70 lakh, ex-showroom.
The commemorative edition combines anniversary-specific exterior and interior styling with a selection of accessories and safety-focused technologies. Jeep is also offering curated 85th Anniversary AXS Personalization Packages, which include features such as ambient lighting, SkyLounge/Sunroof illumination, a Digital IRVM and front and rear dashcams.
The limited-edition Compass gets Gloss Black 18-inch alloy wheels, anniversary-themed detailing and commemorative elements on the exterior. Inside, Jeep has opted for an all-black cabin accented by Mayan Gold highlights, contrast detailing and anniversary-specific touches.
While the changes are largely focused on styling, accessories and personalization, restricting production to just 85 examples means spotting one on the road may require considerably more patience than spotting a regular Compass.

Commenting on the launch, Kumar Priyesh, Business Head & Director – Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said: “The Jeep Compass has always been central to the Jeep story in India, bringing the brand’s legendary capability, design and authenticity to customers who expect more from their SUV. As Jeep celebrates 85 years globally, the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition gives this iconic nameplate a distinctive new expression. With exclusive anniversary-inspired styling, curated accessories and safety technologies, this special edition has been crafted for customers who seek a Compass that feels even more personal, intelligent and exclusive.”
The optional anniversary AXS Packages expand the equipment list with Ambient Lighting, SkyLounge/Sunroof illumination, Digital IRVM with Front and rear Dashcam, along with additional personalization elements developed for the commemorative model.
Jeep says the additions are intended to enhance safety and convenience during urban driving, highway journeys and longer recreational trips, while retaining the Compass’ established focus on SUV capability and everyday usability.
The Compass has played an important role in Jeep’s Indian operations for nearly a decade, combining the brand’s SUV-focused identity with the comfort, technology and refinement expected in the premium segment.
The Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition can be booked through authorised Jeep dealerships across India as well as through the Jeep India website. With only 85 units allocated nationally, the model is positioned less as a major expansion of the Compass line-up and more as a commemorative chapter in the SUV’s Indian journey.
For Jeep, the anniversary edition also underlines the continuing importance of the Compass to its presence in India. In a market crowded with increasingly technology-heavy SUVs, the limited-run model attempts to add exclusivity through design and personalization rather than simply another badge on the tailgate.
