New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the new Brezza Turbo Boosterjet at an introductory starting price of ₹7,39,900, expanding its compact SUV line-up with a turbocharged petrol engine, a new six-speed manual transmission and a wider range of safety and connected-car features.
The updated Brezza will also continue to be offered with Maruti Suzuki’s K15C Dual Jet Dual VVT petrol engine and an S-CNG powertrain. Across the range, the company has introduced revised exterior styling, upgraded interiors, new infotainment technology and additional driver-assistance features.
The Brezza Turbo Boosterjet is powered by an engine producing 81 kW, or about 110 PS, at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 170 Nm between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. It is paired with a new six-speed manual gearbox and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.47 km/l.
Maruti Suzuki has positioned the turbocharged model under its “Spontaneous Play” theme, aimed primarily at younger customers seeking a more performance-oriented version of the compact SUV.
The company has not provided a complete variant-wise price list in the announcement.

K15C petrol gets new six-speed manual
Alongside the turbocharged model, the new Brezza will remain available with the company’s K15C Dual Jet Dual VVT engine featuring Progressive Smart Hybrid technology.
A new six-speed manual transmission replaces the previous manual gearbox, with Maruti Suzuki claiming smoother performance during both urban and highway driving. Buyers can also choose a six-speed automatic transmission equipped with steering-mounted paddle shifters.
The K15C-powered Brezza has a claimed fuel efficiency of 21.09 km/l. Maruti Suzuki has positioned this version under the “Strategic Play” theme, targeting customers looking for a balance of everyday performance, refinement and efficiency.
According to the company, the Brezza brand has built a customer base of more than 1.4 million buyers.
Commenting on the introduction of the new model, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said:

This is the true hallmark of a great product, one that adapts to customers. I am confident the New Brezza will continue to build on the brand’s legacy as India’s favourite compact SUV.”
Brezza S-CNG gets underbody fuel tank
The Brezza S-CNG has received a significant packaging change, with the CNG tank now positioned beneath the vehicle rather than occupying much of the luggage compartment.
The underbody configuration is intended to provide customers with more usable boot space, addressing one of the familiar compromises associated with factory-fitted CNG vehicles.
Maruti Suzuki has also added Idle Start-Stop technology and a new six-speed manual transmission to the CNG version. The Brezza S-CNG has a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.9 km/kg.
Refreshed exterior design
Exterior changes include a redesigned smoke-chrome grille, a metallic grey bull-bar-style element and a revised skid-plate design. The SUV also receives refreshed dual-tone side cladding and new precision-cut alloy wheels featuring a sharper geometric pattern.
The overall upright proportions and signature Brezza silhouette have largely been retained, while the Turbo Boosterjet version receives dedicated “Turbo Boosterjet” branding to distinguish it from the naturally aspirated petrol and CNG models.
The design changes are evolutionary rather than theatrical—which is perhaps sensible in a segment where familiarity can be just as valuable as flair.
New safety and driver-assistance features
Maruti Suzuki says the new Brezza has been developed for a five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. However, the company’s announcement does not state that an official rating has already been awarded.
The SUV gains several active-safety features, including Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Emergency Stop Signal and Exit Support Warning.
An upgraded 360-degree camera now offers three additional viewing modes. Front and rear parking sensors are also included to assist during low-speed manoeuvres and tight parking situations—an everyday test that can feel more demanding than any official driving assessment.
Larger touchscreen and built-in connectivity
Inside, the new Brezza receives a SmartPlay Pro X infotainment system with a 25.65 cm, or 10.1-inch, touchscreen.
The system offers built-in internet connectivity, more than 35 applications, over-the-air updates and an integrated Alexa voice assistant. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity are also available.
The audio system includes new premium speakers and Surround Sense technology powered by Arkamys. A 64-colour customisable ambient lighting system allows occupants to adjust the cabin illumination according to their preference.
Other additions include ventilated front seats, a wireless smartphone charger with active cooling and an air-conditioning system equipped with a PM2.5 filter, AutoPurify function and air-quality-index display.
The cabin receives a dual-tone dark brown and black colour scheme, metallic soft-touch paint, gloss-black accents and new leatherette upholstery.
New Brezza colour options
Maruti Suzuki has introduced two new exterior colours for the updated model: Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige.
The Brezza will also be offered in Pearl Bluish Black, Magma Gray, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver and Pearl Arctic White.
Dual-tone options include:
- Lustrous Beige with a Bluish Black roof
- Arctic White with a Bluish Black roof
- Sizzling Red with a Bluish Black roof
Three accessory packages offered
Customers will also be able to personalise the Brezza through three accessory packages.
The Turbo Package adds red exterior accents and Turbo badging on the C-pillar window to give the Boosterjet model a sportier appearance.
The Terrascape Package uses brown and silver exterior trim elements to create a more rugged, adventure-oriented look.
The Metroscape Package focuses on urban styling, with exterior accessories intended to give the SUV a more distinctive road presence.
With turbo-petrol, naturally aspirated petrol and factory-fitted CNG powertrains now available, Maruti Suzuki is widening the Brezza’s appeal rather than relying on a single mechanical formula. The expanded line-up reflects how India’s compact SUV market is evolving, with buyers increasingly expecting performance, efficiency, technology and practicality to share the same parking space.
