As India’s summer heat begins behaving like it has a personal rivalry with car cabins, Nissan Motor India has decided it’s time for vehicles to stop blowing “heritage air” and start cooling properly again. The company has officially launched a nationwide AC Check-up Camp aimed at helping Nissan owners survive the scorching months without turning their cars into moving saunas.
Running until June 15, 2026, the summer service initiative will be available across Nissan’s 125 authorised service touchpoints in India. The campaign focuses on ensuring that customers’ air-conditioning systems are operating efficiently before the mercury decides to test human patience levels once again.
As part of the camp, Nissan’s trained service experts will carry out a comprehensive 12-point AC inspection designed to identify cooling inefficiencies, airflow issues, refrigerant concerns, and overall system performance. In simpler words, it’s a health check-up for the one feature Indian drivers arguably love more than horsepower during May and June — the AC.
To make the visit more attractive, Nissan is also offering complimentary top wash services, pick-up and drop facilities, along with up to 10% discount on Value Added Services and select paid labour charges. Because if the AC is getting pampered, the car might as well leave the workshop looking fresh too.
The initiative is part of Nissan’s broader customer engagement strategy, encouraging owners to proactively maintain their vehicles during peak summer months while reconnecting with authorised service workshops. The company says the campaign reflects its ongoing focus on customer satisfaction and delivering a seamless ownership experience across India.
Customers can conveniently book appointments through the My Nissan App or via the official Nissan Motor India website. And honestly, with Indian summers reaching “air fryer mode,” this might be one appointment your car will genuinely thank you for.
