Maruti Suzuki’s Innovative Subscription Service Soars to 10,000 Users, Revolutionizing Car Ownership in India

New Delhi, March 14, 2024 – Maruti Suzuki’s groundbreaking Subscribe service reaches a new zenith with a thriving community of 10,000 subscribers, marking a paradigm shift in car ownership experiences across India. Launched in July 2020, Maruti Suzuki Subscribe has redefined the way consumers think about owning a vehicle by providing a seamless and hassle-free option that covers the on-road price, insurance, and service management of the vehicle.

The subscription program has witnessed a remarkable growth of 44% in the current financial year (FY23-24) compared to the previous year (FY22-23), demonstrating the increasing popularity of flexible car buying and ownership solutions. The cities of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore have emerged as the leading markets, hosting the majority of subscribers, showcasing the urban demand for innovative mobility solutions.

Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, shared his enthusiasm about the program’s success, stating, “The Maruti Suzuki Subscribe program has been warmly embraced by Indian consumers, reflecting a significant shift towards flexible and convenient ownership experiences. With more than half of our subscribers joining this financial year, it’s evident that the subscription model is not just a trend but a preferred choice for modern consumers.”

The popularity of models like Brezza, Baleno, Grand Vitara, and Ertiga, which account for more than half of the subscriptions, underscores the program’s appeal. The service, available in 25 cities through five partnership networks, has not only doubled its customer base this financial year but also demonstrated a strong preference among users for 3-4 year subscription tenures, highlighting the changing perspectives towards car ownership among the new generation of drivers.

Maruti Suzuki Subscribe continues to pave the way for flexible and stress-free car ownership, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction in the ever-evolving automotive landscape.
