Schaeffler India Q2 Profit Reaches ₹3,367 Million as Automotive Businesses Sustain Growth

Pune: Schaeffler India Limited reported a 17.5% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to ₹26,814 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, supported by double-digit growth across its Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions and Intercompany Exports businesses.

The company’s Board of Directors approved the financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026 on Wednesday.

Revenue during the April-June quarter was also 7% higher than the ₹25,070 million recorded in the preceding quarter.

Profit before tax, excluding exceptional items, increased 13.7% year-on-year to ₹4,525 million. The PBT margin stood at 16.9%, compared with 17.4% in the corresponding quarter of 2025 and 17% in the January-March quarter of 2026.

Net profit for the quarter was ₹3,367 million, translating into a net profit margin of 12.6%.

The figures indicate that while growth remained strong, profitability margins faced some pressure. In other words, revenue kept its foot firmly on the accelerator, while margins encountered a little more traffic.

First-half revenue grows 18.1%

For the six months ended June 30, 2026, Schaeffler India reported net revenue from operations of ₹51,884 million, an increase of 18.1% over the corresponding period of 2025.

Profit before tax, excluding exceptional items, rose 16.5% to ₹8,782 million. The PBT margin for the six-month period stood at 16.9%, slightly lower than the 17.2% reported during the first half of 2025.

Net profit for the January-June period was ₹6,564 million, with the net profit margin coming in at 12.7%, compared with 12.8% during the corresponding period last year.

The company attributed the marginal impact on earnings quality to cost pressures arising from geopolitical developments and a volatile macroeconomic environment.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Harsha Kadam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said, “ Schaeffler India registered a strong growth of 18.1% for the first half of the year. Our Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions and Intercompany Exports business continued the double-digit growth trajectory. Even for the quarter, despite a challenging market we recorded a 7% QoQ growth. Quality of earnings marginally impacted given cost pressures due to geopolitical developments. Overall, I am happy to share that we delivered on our financial performance consistently, amid volatility in a very dynamic macro-economic landscape. We remain committed on maintaing the momentum for the remainder of the year. “

Schaeffler India Limited is listed on the BSE under the code 505790 and on the National Stock Exchange under the symbol SCHAEFFLER.

The results relate to the company’s standalone financial performance for the quarter and half year ended June 30, 2026.

With demand across its major business divisions continuing to expand, Schaeffler India enters the second half of the year with solid revenue momentum. Its ability to manage input costs and protect margins amid geopolitical and economic uncertainty, however, will remain central to its performance for the rest of 2026.
