Hyderabad, 16th May 2024: In a significant move towards sustainable eMobility, leading French automaker Citroën has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with OHM E Logistics, a prominent Indian logistics company, to deliver 1,000 Citroën ë-C3 electric vehicles (EVs) over the next 12 months. The partnership was ceremoniously inaugurated with the flag-off of the first 120 EVs by Shishir Mishra, Brand Director of Citroën India, and Dr. Nirmal Reddy, Founder & Chairman of OHM Group, in Hyderabad.
The Citroën ë-C3, an award-winning all-electric compact SUV, is poised to significantly enhance OHM E Logistics’ fleet, offering a commendable range of 320 km as per ARAI standards and advanced fast charging technology capable of achieving nearly full charge in under an hour. Its spacious interior and substantial cargo capacity make it an ideal choice for diverse logistics needs, ensuring efficient and eco-friendly transportation solutions.

The induction of the first batch of 120 Citroën ë-C3 vehicles in Hyderabad marks the commencement of a fruitful partnership between OHM Logistics and Citroën India. Over the coming year, OHM E Logistics plans to integrate the remaining 880 vehicles into its fleet, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and efficient logistics solutions. This initiative follows OHM’s successful deployment of 100 electric cabs at GMR Hyderabad Airport in October 2022, catering to passengers seeking sustainable transportation options.
