Mumbai, April 10, 2024: Tata Motors Group, the automotive giant, has reported a robust performance in its global wholesales for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024, marking an 8% increase compared to the same period last year.

The group, encompassing Tata Motors along with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), achieved global wholesales totaling 3,77,432 units during Q4 FY24. This notable surge underscores the resilience and strength of Tata Motors’ diverse portfolio in a competitive market landscape.

Breaking down the figures, Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle and Tata Daewoo range witnessed a slight decline, registering wholesales of 1,11,591 units, down by 6% from Q4 FY23. However, this was offset by the remarkable performance of Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles segment, which saw a substantial 15% increase in wholesales, reaching 1,55,651 units. Notably, this figure includes sales of electric vehicles, reflecting the growing demand for sustainable mobility solutions.

Meanwhile, Jaguar Land Rover, excluding volumes from its joint venture with Chery Automobiles (CJLR), reported wholesales of 1,10,190 vehicles during the quarter, marking an impressive 16% rise compared to the same period last year. Within this, Jaguar wholesales stood at 13,528 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales reached 96,662 vehicles, showcasing the enduring appeal of these iconic brands in global markets.

The surge in global wholesales for Tata Motors Group in Q4 FY24 underscores its ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic market conditions. With a diverse product portfolio and a commitment to innovation, Tata Motors continues to strengthen its position as a global automotive leader, poised for sustainable growth in the years ahead.
