Subaru Sets the Stage for 2025: Same Prices, More Luxury For Legacy & Outback

Subaru of America, Inc. has just made a groundbreaking announcement that’s set to electrify the automotive market: the 2025 Legacy sedan and Outback SUV will hit the market this spring, holding steady on starting prices while revving up their luxury features. The 2025 Legacy remains an enticing buy at $24,895 (INR 20.81 lakh), and the adventurous Outback begins at a competitive $28,895 (INR 24.15 lakh), both maintaining their previous year’s starting costs.

In a move that’s sure to delight Subaru enthusiasts and potentially sway new customers, the 2025 models of both Legacy and Outback are upping the ante on their Limited trims. Adding a suite of features as standard— including a Power Moonroof, the innovative DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System, the cutting-edge Subaru Starlink 11.6-in Multimedia Navigation system, and a luxurious 360-degree heated steering wheel—Subaru is redefining the expectation for mid-range trims. The Outback Limited will start at $37,855, and the Legacy Limited at $34,005.

Not content to stop there, Subaru is reinforcing its commitment to safety with the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology now standard on all models. This includes advanced features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering and Automatic Emergency Steering. Plus, both models boast the SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system for infotainment, offering seamless integration for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto users.

The 2025 Outback is not just about luxury; it’s built to handle almost any adventure you throw its way. With standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Active Torque Vectoring, and an impressive 8.7 inches of ground clearance (9.5 inches for the Wilderness trim), it’s equipped to tackle both city streets and rugged trails. Plus, the Outback continues its streak of safety accolades, including a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Trim levels for the 2025 Outback range from the base model to the high-end Touring XT, with options for a turbocharged Boxer engine in the XT models. Meanwhile, the 2025 Legacy sedan offers a variety of trims, all featuring Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The Legacy continues to stand out for its combination of performance, safety, and sophistication—attributes that have defined Subaru’s longest-running nameplate.

As Subaru of America gears up for the release of these 2025 models, consumers are presented with an irresistible proposition: more features, no price hike, and the continued reliability and safety Subaru is known for. With both the Legacy and Outback, Subaru reaffirms its commitment to value, innovation, and customer satisfaction, ensuring these models remain favorites among drivers looking for a blend of practicality and premium features.
