New Delhi, January 12, 2024 – Kia India has unveiled its latest offering, the New Sonet Compact SUV. This advanced vehicle is available at a special introductory price starting from INR 7.99 Lakhs. Launched in December 2023, the New Sonet marks Kia’s commitment to innovation and safety, featuring 25 safety attributes, including 10 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and 15 Hi-safety features.
The New Sonet distinguishes itself with an impressive array of 70+ connected car features. Among these is the ‘Find My Car with SVM’, providing a surround view of the car’s vicinity, and the integration of Hinglish voice commands. This SUV is offered in 19 different variants, catering to a wide range of preferences, including petrol and diesel options with manual, iMT, 7DCT, and automatic transmissions.
In terms of safety and technology, the Sonet is equipped with features like Front Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), and six standard airbags across all Kia models. The vehicle also boasts 10 unique segment features, including a Dual Screen Connected Panel Design and a comprehensive safety package.
Design-wise, the new Sonet sports a muscular and sportier look, featuring an updated front facade with a new grille and bumper design, Crown Jewel LED Headlamps, and Star Map LED Connected Tail Lamps. The interiors are equally impressive, offering a tech-oriented dashboard, LED Ambient Sound Lighting, and a variety of color options, including a new Pewter Olive Body color.
