Festive Cheers Turn Into 20% Sales Surge for JSW MG Motor India!

When the rest of India was lighting diyas and counting sweets, JSW MG Motor India was busy counting something a little shinier — car keys! The British-bred, Indo-powered brand clocked an impressive 20% year-on-year (YoY) growth in wholesales during the festive triad of August to October 2025.

Adding an even brighter sparkle to its success, MG also registered a 27% year-to-date (YTD) growth (Jan–Oct 2025 vs Jan–Oct 2024), proving that the brand’s momentum isn’t just festive — it’s electric (sometimes literally). For October alone, the company reported 6,397 units sold, marking another feather in its green-and-glossy cap.

MG Select Steals the Spotlight (Again):
If the luxury EV world had a red carpet, the MG Select would be strutting right down the middle. The model retained its second position in the luxury EV segment, flaunting a 62% month-on-month (MoM) growth, as if to say — “Yes, Tesla, we see you, but India’s charging up fast too.”

Backed by JSW MG Motor India’s focus on local assembly, tech integration, and India-specific luxury features (like ventilated seats that can survive Delhi summers), the Select is redefining what “premium electric” means for Indian roads.

Festivity Meets Futurism:
Company insiders suggest that the dual dose of festive enthusiasm and GST 2.0 optimism gave customers the nudge they needed to upgrade to a smarter, cleaner, and more tech-savvy MG. Showrooms turned into selfie zones, dealerships saw happy chaos, and even the chargers outside MG outlets reportedly ran out of breath.

Corporate Cheers, with a Plug of Pride:
An MG spokesperson quipped, “We’ve had a ‘charged-up’ festive season in every sense. The MG Select’s stellar run and our consistent growth underline that premium EVs in India are no longer a niche — they’re a movement.”

As the electric future hums louder and India continues its festive marathon, MG seems perfectly poised — not just to ride the wave, but to electrify it.
