Pure Precision: Praga’s 2025 Bohema Supercar Hits the Road

Praga delivers its first production Bohema, redefining lightweight engineering and supercar performance

In a milestone moment for Czech manufacturer Praga, the first production model of the 2025 Bohema supercar has been delivered to a customer in the Netherlands. The December 6th handover, conducted by none other than Formula 1 veteran Romain Grosjean, marked the official debut of what Praga calls a “race driver’s supercar.”

The Bohema’s journey from prototype to production has been swift yet meticulously executed, with just two years passing since the pre-production prototype was unveiled. This road-legal, race-bred marvel boasts an uncompromising approach to performance, luxury, and precision engineering.

A Featherweight Contender with Unmatched Power

At the heart of the Bohema is a bespoke Praga-Litchfield 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine delivering 700 bhp, housed in a carbon-fiber body weighing just 1,000 kg (2,300 lbs). With a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph), the Bohema achieves a rare balance of exhilarating track performance and on-road usability.

The car’s aerodynamic design, finalized in a Formula 1 wind tunnel, combined with features like adjustable suspension and 2G cornering capability, ensures seamless transitions between road and track.

“We wanted it to be the lightest supercar in the world, the fastest on track, and for it to be beautiful,” said Jan Martinek, Engineering Director at Praga Cars. “No one else makes a car like this.”

A Nod to Heritage

Praga’s return to road car production after a 77-year hiatus is steeped in its legacy of innovation. From the Super Piccolo of the 1930s to today’s Bohema, the company’s dedication to lightweight engineering and aerodynamic excellence remains unchanged.

Martinek remarked, “The Bohema embodies the core values of Praga’s early automotive innovations, presenting a modern interpretation of what the brand might have created if production hadn’t paused eight decades ago.”

Craftsmanship for the Elite

Each Bohema is a testament to artisanal craftsmanship. The hand-built supercar features bespoke paint finishes, including intricate gold leaf detailing, and a fully carbon-fiber monocoque. Owners receive a personalized experience, from unique trim designs to tailored aftersales services and track support.

The first customer’s understated reaction—“Magnificent!”—sums up the sentiment surrounding Praga’s achievement.

Exclusivity Redefined

With production capped at fewer than 20 cars per year through 2028, the Bohema is as exclusive as it is extraordinary. Praga plans to focus its delivery efforts on five key markets: Europe, the United States, South Asia, the Middle East, and Japan.

Mark Harrison, Sales and Marketing Director at Praga Cars, emphasized the importance of quality over quantity: “It is very easy to promise car enthusiasts an enticing new vehicle, but incredibly hard to design, develop, and produce one that delivers on that promise. The Bohema does exactly that.”

Looking Ahead

As production ramps up to a steady pace of 1–2 cars per month, Praga’s commitment to excellence remains unwavering. For Praga Group CMO Ivan Krakora, the delivery of the first Bohema is a defining moment: “Heritage means nothing unless a product resonates with today’s car enthusiasts. The Bohema confirms Praga’s rightful place as a supercar manufacturer.”

Praga’s Bohema isn’t just another high-performance car—it’s a statement of intent from a brand that has bridged its storied past with an ambitious future, redefining what a road-legal race car can be.
