Crewkerne, UK – The Ariel Motor Company, renowned for its ultra-lightweight and high-performance vehicles, has just launched the all-new Ariel Nomad 2, a second-generation model that redefines the go-anywhere sports car.
The Nomad 2, a complete redesign from the ground up, retains only three parts from its predecessor. Its new, larger diameter tube chassis increases torsional stiffness by over 60%, complemented by a totally revised suspension system with anti-dive and anti-squat capabilities. This new design promises an unparalleled off-road experience.
At the heart of the Nomad 2 is a 2.3L Ford ST turbo engine, delivering up to 305bhp and 518Nm of torque. This power, combined with a six-speed manual gearbox and optional paddle shift, allows the Nomad 2 to sprint from 0 to 60mph in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 215 kph. Its three-stage driver-adjustable ECU map and adjustable launch and traction control make it versatile for both on-road and off-road adventures.
