Mercedes-AMG Unveils CLE ‘Limited Edition’ — Because Apparently, Regular Luxury Just Isn’t Fancy Enough

In the ever-evolving world of automotive opulence, Mercedes-AMG has decided that its already drool-worthy CLE 53 Coupé and Cabriolet weren’t quite extra enough. So naturally, they did the most AMG thing possible—wrapped the cars in matte paint, slapped on some carbon fibre, added yellow accents, and called it a “Limited Edition.”

Because what’s luxury without exclusivity, and what’s exclusivity without a giant AMG logo practically shouting “I have arrived!” from across the parking lot?

The “Limited Edition”: For When You Want Your Neighbours to Know You’ve Made It

Let’s start with the facts: The CLE 53 4Matic+ is no slouch. With a 3.0-litre inline-six delivering 449 horsepower and an Overboost mode that bumps torque to a grin-inducing 600 Nm, this machine is already a powerhouse. But Mercedes-AMG looked at their creation and said, “What if it also looked like a Marvel superhero’s weekend car?”

Enter: matte Manufaktur graphite grey magno (Coupé) and spectral blue magno (Cabriolet)—because if you’re going to be flashy, you might as well glow like a Bond villain’s tuxedo.

Wheels, Carbon, and a Hint of Superhero

The Coupé rolls on 20-inch forged wheels with yellow rim flanges that scream “track day,” even if you’re just heading to your personal trainer. The Cabriolet tones it down with polished alloys—because sun-kissed hair and carbon-fibre mirrors just go together.

Not to be outdone by the outside, the interior is equally ready for its close-up. Coupé seats are stitched in yellow contrast, while the Cabriolet brings a touch of ice-queen elegance with white-and-black Nappa leather. Floor mats match the vibe, as does the illuminated AMG door sills. Because if your door sills don’t glow, are you even trying?

Package Deal? More Like a Package Parade

The “Limited Edition” is basically a four-wheeled festival of AMG packages:

  • Night Package & Night Package II (Coupé only): Think high-gloss black and dark chrome everywhere—perfect for dramatic entrances and villain monologues.
  • AMG Styling Package: Spoilers, diffusers, and flics (no, not a typo)—because aerodynamics are sexy.
  • Carbon-Fibre Packages I & II (Cabriolet only): Real carbon, not the print—you deserve the good stuff.
  • Dynamic Plus Package: Microcut microfibre steering wheel, grey-painted brake calipers, and active engine mounts—basically a wellness retreat for your driving soul.

And just to top it off: a bespoke indoor car cover. Because of course your Limited Edition AMG needs a cozy flannel-lined garage robe.

For the Discerning Few (and Everyone on Instagram)

The CLE “Limited Edition” will be available from July 2025 until May 2026—translation: order now or forever be haunted by dreams of matte grey and yellow calipers. Pricing hasn’t been disclosed yet, but if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it—or at least not the matching car cover.

So, if you’ve been waiting for the perfect car to match your tailored sneakers, espresso machine, and curated art collection, your chariot has arrived—complete with AMG branding large enough to be seen from space.

And remember: this isn’t just a car. It’s a statement. Preferably made at full throttle.
