2025 Subaru Forester Sets New Standard for Style and Safety

Subaru of America, Inc. has lifted the veil on the highly anticipated 2025 Subaru Forester, revealing a starting price of $29,695 (INR 24.71 lakh) for what promises to be the most innovative iteration yet of the brand’s best-selling SUV. Scheduled for release in late spring 2024, the sixth-generation Forester boasts a comprehensive redesign that merges aesthetic refinement with cutting-edge technology and superior comfort.

The all-new Forester steps into the future with a sleeker, more contemporary exterior design, maintaining its rugged proportions while introducing a bolder grille, compact LED headlights, and Subaru’s fresh star cluster emblem. The vehicle’s enhanced chassis, built on the Subaru Global Platform, promises a 10% increase in torsional rigidity over its predecessor, ensuring both improved safety and driving performance.

Inside, Subaru has upped the ante with a quieter, more refined interior that features durable, textured trim accents and a dark headliner designed to camouflage the scuffs and scratches of daily adventures. Sound-absorbing materials and advanced construction techniques have significantly reduced interior noise, providing a serene driving experience.

At the heart of the Forester’s safety suite is the latest generation of Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, now a standard offering across all trims. This system has been fine-tuned for smoother operation across a wider range of conditions, enhancing the Forester’s ability to prevent accidents before they happen. New safety features such as Emergency Stop Assist and Automatic Emergency Steering bolster the Forester’s commitment to driver and passenger security.

Connectivity and entertainment are also front and center, with all models featuring dual 7.0-inch Subaru Starlink Multimedia System touchscreens and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Forester Premium and above trims offer an 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless connectivity, elevating the in-cabin experience.

The Forester’s drivetrain remains robust with a revised 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer engine delivering 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque, coupled with a Lineartronic CVT. This setup is complemented by Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, ensuring unmatched stability and traction across various driving conditions.

The 2025 Subaru Forester lineup includes Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring models, each progressively enhancing the vehicle’s luxury, convenience, and capability features. Additionally, the Forester Wilderness variant continues into 2024, offering an off-road-ready option for adventure enthusiasts.

With its compelling blend of style, technology, and safety, the 2025 Subaru Forester is set to redefine expectations for what a compact SUV can be, further cementing Subaru’s reputation for reliability, performance, and value.
