Magenta Madness: Jeep Wrangler’s ‘Tuscadero’ Hue Makes a Bold Return for 4×4 Day 2024

April 4, 2024, Auburn Hills, Mich. – In a move that’s stirring up the automotive world with a splash of color, the Jeep brand has announced the return of the audacious and much-loved Tuscadero, a deep and intense chromatic magenta. This announcement comes as part of the celebrations for 4×4 Day 2024, marking a vibrant comeback for the shade on the new 2024 Jeep Wrangler, the epitome of off-road prowess and iconic design.

The Tuscadero color, known for its boldness and depth, previously captured the hearts of over 30,000 customers during its original launch in 2021. Its return not only underscores Jeep’s commitment to customer feedback but also highlights the brand’s flair for offering distinctive, limited-edition colors that enhance customization and appeal. “Tickled pink” to reintroduce this standout shade, Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America, emphasizes the brand’s dedication to delivering exactly what their customers desire.

Available at a U.S. MSRP of $895 (INR 74,550), Tuscadero joins the 2024 Jeep Wrangler’s lineup of nine striking exterior colors, alongside other vibrant offerings and new additions like Anvil. This limited-edition color is up for grabs across several trim levels, including Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392, initially available with a choice of hardtop or soft-top options. A Sky One-Touch powertop variant is set to follow in late Q2 2024, adding even more versatility to this iconic model.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler itself continues to push boundaries, incorporating over eight decades of 4×4 engineering expertise. It offers an array of enhancements, including a full-float Dana rear axle, a factory-installed 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, and an increased 5,000-pound tow capability. Inside, the new Wrangler doesn’t skimp on luxury or technology, boasting available 12-way power-adjustable front seats, a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio, and standard side curtain airbags. With powertrain options ranging from the efficient 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four to the powerful 6.4-liter V-8 and the eco-friendly plug-in hybrid 4xe, the 2024 Wrangler ensures a match for every type of adventurer.

Jeep’s reintroduction of Tuscadero not only celebrates the adventurous spirit of 4×4 Day but also signifies a continued evolution in offering personalized, standout vehicle options for enthusiasts around the globe.
