Jeep Wrangles Up a Texas-sized Tribute with the Launch of the 2024 Gladiator Texas Trail Edition

New Special Edition Truck Rides High on Mud Tires and Texas Pride, Exclusive to the Lone Star State

March 4, 2024, Auburn Hills, Mich. – In a bold move that’s sure to stir up as much excitement as a rodeo in July, Jeep has just unveiled the 2024 Gladiator Texas Trail, a special edition truck that’s as rugged and ready as the state it’s named after. With the Lone Star State holding the title as both the largest truck market in the country and the biggest Gladiator fan base, Jeep’s latest creation is a tip of the hat to its Texan admirers.

Bill Peffer, the senior vice president and head honcho at Jeep Brand North America, tipped his hat to Texas, acknowledging its significance to the brand. “We know Texas isn’t just big in size but also in spirit, especially when it comes to trucks. That’s why we’re thrilled to roll out the Gladiator Texas Trail, a model that sold faster than hotcakes at a state fair last year,” Peffer explained, highlighting the model’s popularity.

Priced starting at $48,090 (INR 40 lakh), the 2024 Gladiator Texas Trail isn’t just another truck; it’s a celebration on wheels, available exclusively in Texas. Dealerships will start wrangling these beauties into their stables starting in May.

What makes the Texas Trail stand out? For starters, it’s wearing 17-inch black-painted aluminum spurs (wheels) and stomping on 32-inch mud-terrain boots (tires), ready to tackle any trail or tailgate. Its body-color hardtop and unique Texas Trail hood and tailgate decals sporting the year 1836 pay homage to the Texas Declaration of Independence, blending history with horsepower.

The interior isn’t shy of features either, boasting black McKinley-trimmed seats, steel rock rails, and a host of modern conveniences like keyless entry, heated front seats, and a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, proving that rugged can also be refined.

Under the hood, it’s all Jeep, with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that’s as spirited as a mustang, delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. And because it’s a Jeep, the Gladiator Texas Trail is Trail Rated, meaning it’s been tested to tackle the toughest of terrains, whether that’s crossing creeks or climbing over cow patties.

Available in seven colors that range from “stealthy night ops” black to “yeehaw” Firecracker Red, there’s a shade for every Texan looking to show off their state pride on and off the road.

So, if you’re in Texas and in the market for a truck that’s as bold as a barbecue brisket and as capable as a cowboy, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail might just be the ride you’ve been waiting for. Saddle up and get ready to hit the trail, Texas style.
