New Delhi, March 1, 2024 — It seems like Maruti Suzuki India Limited couldn’t keep their vehicles in stock this February, as the auto giant reported a whopping sale of 197,471 units across various segments. The company’s sales strategy evidently hit the sweet spot, combining domestic charm with international allure.
In a detailed breakdown, the domestic market gobbled up 163,397 units, while other OEMs snagged 5,147 units. Not to be left behind, the global appetite for Maruti Suzuki’s vehicles remained strong, with exports reaching an impressive tally of 28,927 units.
The passenger car segment was buzzing with activity, contributing a significant chunk to the total sales with 86,890 units flying off the showroom floors. When it comes to the total domestic passenger vehicle sales, the figures were equally stunning, with 160,271 vehicles finding new homes in February alone.
It’s clear that Maruti Suzuki has mastered the art of vehicle sales, blending a mix of desirable models with strategic market placements both at home and abroad.
