In a bold move, Jeep has announced an unprecedented upgrade for its 2024 Wrangler models – the introduction of a massive 35-inch tire option, a first for the two-door variants. This groundbreaking addition comes as part of the newly unveiled Xtreme 35 Tire Package, available for the iconic Wrangler Rubicon and Willys models.
Originally introduced in 2021 for the four-door Wrangler, the Xtreme 35 Tire Package has been met with enthusiasm by Jeep enthusiasts. The package equips the two-door Willys and Rubicon models with 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires, enhancing the already formidable capabilities of these off-road champions. Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, expressed excitement over this expansion, noting the demand for more adventure and capability among Jeep’s passionate fanbase.
The Xtreme 35 Tire Package elevates the Wrangler’s performance to new levels. Equipped vehicles boast an unmatched breakover angle of 32.4 degrees, along with superior approach and departure angles, ground clearance, and water fording ability. The package, priced at $4,495 (INR 3.73 lakh), includes beadlock capable wheels, swing gate reinforcement, a specific axle ratio, and a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with custom-tuned shocks.
The 2024 Wrangler Rubicon X, starting at $62,295 (INR 51.78 lakh), comes standard with the Xtreme 35 Tire Package. Jeep enthusiasts can currently place orders for the Rubicon model with this package, with availability for the Willys model coming later this quarter. Production is scheduled to begin in March at the Toledo (Ohio) Assembly Plant, marking a new chapter in Jeep’s legacy of offering unparalleled off-road experiences.
