Toyota India Launches the 17th Annual Toyota Dream Car Art Contest in 2024

Bangalore, January 10, 2024 – Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has officially announced the launch of the 17th edition of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, set to inspire a new generation of young artists and dreamers in 2024. Scheduled to run from the 5th to the 31st of January, the contest revolves around the theme “Your Dream Car,” and encourages children nationwide to engage their imaginations in creating innovative car designs.

Aiming to foster the inventive spirits of young minds, the contest is an avenue for children to envision the future of mobility and to articulate their aspirations. It’s an opportunity that allows for the expression of creative ideas without boundaries, signifying TKM’s dedication to nurturing the dreamers of tomorrow.

Children under 15 are eligible to participate, with the contest being divided into three age groups: Category 1 (up to 7 years old), Category 2 (8-11 years old), and Category 3 (12-15 years old). The contest will occur at both national and global levels, beginning with the National Contest in January 2024. Nine winners, three from each category, will be selected to represent their nation at the World Contest, with a chance to win an educational grant.

The previous year’s contest, the 16th edition, witnessed an extraordinary level of participation from across the country. A notable success was that of Ms. Sruthi Manojna from Andhra Pradesh, who secured the Best Finalist award in the World Contest for the 12-15 years age group, accompanied by a cash prize to honor her outstanding achievement.

Since its inception in 2004, the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has evolved into a global event of significance. The 16th edition alone attracted approximately 780,000 submissions from 90 countries, demonstrating the contest’s massive global reach and Toyota’s commitment to fostering unrestricted creativity in children.

TKM eagerly invites young artists from across India to participate in the 17th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. Further information, including participation rules, submission guidelines, and the history of the event, is available on TKM’s official website: www.toyotabharat.com/dream-car-contest.

Initiated in 2004, the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest invites children up to 15 years of age worldwide to share their creative visions. The contest encourages young minds to develop an interest in cars and understand the joy and importance of harboring dreams. After national contests are held globally, the winning artworks progress to be judged in Japan during the World Contest.
