The Incubation Program for Mobility Startups, a pioneering initiative by Maruti Suzuki, aims to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications in the automobile sector. The program received an overwhelming response with over 300 applications for its 2nd Cohort. Following rigorous evaluation rounds by experts from Maruti Suzuki and NSRCEL, the top eight startups were selected for a comprehensive 6-month incubation journey.
Throughout the program, the startups benefited from extensive training and mentorship from experts in the industry, academia, and venture capitalists. This guidance was instrumental in refining their solutions for real-world application and facilitating investor connections. In line with the Government’s ‘Start-up India’ and ‘Digital India’ initiatives, Maruti Suzuki continues to foster innovation through various programs, including the Pre-Incubation Program (Nurture), Incubation Program, Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab (MAIL), and the Mobility Challenge.
