New Delhi: Universo Ferrari India concluded its two-week exhibition at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi, attracting more than 22,000 visitors and bringing together some of the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer’s most significant road cars, racing machines and technological innovations. The event also highlighted Ferrari’s growing commitment to India, including plans to open new dealerships in Chennai and Ahmedabad by the end of 2026.
The exhibition offered Indian customers, enthusiasts, students and industry partners an opportunity to explore Ferrari’s automotive heritage, motorsport achievements and future technologies under one roof. From legendary V12-powered machines to the company’s first electric car, the event demonstrated how Ferrari intends to balance its racing traditions with an increasingly technology-driven future.
Ferrari F80, F50 and Daytona SP3 Take Centre Stage
Among the major attractions was an extensive collection of Ferrari sports cars representing different generations of the Maranello-based manufacturer.
The road-car display featured the Ferrari F80, 849 Testarossa Spider, 12Cilindri Spider, Amalfi Spider, Daytona SP3 and the iconic F50. Together, these machines illustrated the evolution of Ferrari’s engineering, design philosophy and approach to high-performance motoring.
Motorsport enthusiasts were equally well catered for, with the Scuderia Ferrari SF-26 Formula 1 car sharing the spotlight with the triple Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P, alongside the 296 GT3 and 296 Challenge.
The combination offered visitors a rare opportunity to examine Ferrari’s Formula 1, endurance racing and customer racing programmes in one setting. For a manufacturer whose identity is inseparable from motorsport, the racing cars were more than decorative centrepieces.

Ferrari Luce and Hypersail Highlight Future Technologies
While historic machinery celebrated the company’s past, Ferrari also presented its vision for the future.
Visitors were introduced to Ferrari Luce, the manufacturer’s first electric car, signalling an important development in its electrification strategy.
Another notable attraction was Ferrari Hypersail, which made its debut in Asia during the exhibition, expanding the event’s technological focus beyond the automotive world.
Ferrari Classiche, meanwhile, provided a glimpse into the manufacturer’s extensive history through the Ferrari 365 GTB4 and the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti that participated in the 2008 Magic India Discovery tour.
The latter was a particularly relevant inclusion, reconnecting Ferrari’s current activities in India with an earlier chapter of its relationship with the country.
Around 1,000 Students Participate in Ferrari Educational Programmes
Universo Ferrari India extended beyond its vehicle displays, with approximately 1,000 students participating in dedicated seminars and interactions with Ferrari leaders and experts.
These sessions explored subjects including innovation, technology, design and entrepreneurship, providing participants with insights into the expertise behind the Italian manufacturer.
The programme also incorporated a charity auction supporting Bal Raksha Bharat, Save the Children India, with proceeds directed towards educational opportunities for children from underserved communities.
The educational initiatives added a broader dimension to the event, demonstrating that Ferrari’s presence in India was not limited to its customers and automotive enthusiasts.
25 Ferraris Complete 1,800-Kilometre Journey from Mumbai to New Delhi
As part of the activities surrounding Universo Ferrari India, a convoy of 25 Ferraris undertook an approximately 1,800-kilometre journey from Mumbai to New Delhi.
The route passed through Vadodara, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra, connecting several major Indian cities while bringing the Italian sports car manufacturer beyond the exhibition venue.
The journey provided another platform for Ferrari to engage with enthusiasts across the country, while illustrating the growing visibility of luxury performance automobiles on Indian roads.
The event also marked an expansion of Ferrari’s regional motorsport activities, with Avelon Luxe joining as the company’s India-based partner for the Ferrari Hypercar and Ferrari Challenge Middle East series.
Ferrari Plans New Dealerships in Chennai and Ahmedabad
Beyond the exhibition, Ferrari confirmed plans to expand its retail presence in India through two additional dealerships in Chennai and Ahmedabad by the end of 2026.
The proposed expansion forms part of the company’s efforts to strengthen relationships with Indian customers and establish a wider presence in the country’s luxury automotive market.
Ferrari has also introduced a dedicated official Instagram account, @Ferrari.Indiaofficial, to communicate its latest news and activities in India.
The conclusion of Universo Ferrari India represents more than the end of a successful automotive exhibition. With over 22,000 visitors, educational outreach, motorsport partnerships and planned dealership expansion, Ferrari is seeking to build a deeper and more sustained relationship with India.
For the Prancing Horse, the challenge now is to translate the enthusiasm generated by two weeks in New Delhi into long-term engagement with Indian customers, enthusiasts and the next generation of automotive talent.
