FanCode Turbocharges into F1 Broadcasting: A Digital Dash to the Finish Line in India

In a move that’s set to rev up the spirits of Formula 1 aficionados across India, FanCode has inked a groundbreaking exclusive broadcasting deal with the pinnacle of motor racing. The digital sports platform is now on the fast track to becoming the sole broadcaster of Formula 1 in India, covering the thrill-packed seasons of 2024 and 2025. This high-octane partnership was announced on February 29, 2024, in Mumbai, promising to bring the entire F1 circus – from practice and qualifying sessions, F1 Sprint events, to the heart-pounding Grands Prix – directly to Indian fans through a spectrum of digital devices.

The announcement marks the beginning of the longest F1 season ever, featuring 24 adrenaline-fueled races, with the starting flag dropping in Bahrain. FanCode is gearing up to provide comprehensive coverage of the events, ensuring that fans won’t miss a single turn. The platform’s state-of-the-art technical prowess promises a viewing experience that’s nothing short of world-class, giving fans the power to tailor their viewing with either individual race passes or a season pass for the whole 24-race spectacle.

Yannick Colaco, co-founder of FanCode, couldn’t contain his excitement, stating, “Formula 1 is among the biggest sporting spectacles globally, and we’re over the moon to bring the sheer excitement and dynamic action to millions of fans across India. We’re not just aiming to provide an unparalleled viewing experience but also to introduce the sport to a broader audience throughout the nation.”

Ian Holmes, Formula 1’s Director of Media Rights and Content Creation, shared the enthusiasm, noting, “We’re thrilled to partner with FanCode for the next two seasons, ensuring that Indian fans have a dedicated platform to catch all the F1 action. FanCode’s expertise in catering to sports enthusiasts makes them the perfect partner to help us engage with our 60 million fans in India and to drive the sport to new heights in the country.”

Since its launch in 2019, FanCode has quickly become the go-to destination for over 100 million sports fans in India, having previously broadcast an impressive roster of international sporting events. With this latest foray into Formula 1 broadcasting, FanCode is set to shift gears and accelerate India’s passion for motorsport into a new era.
