Olectra Greentech Ends FY26 in Top Gear With Record EV Deliveries, 28% Revenue Growth

Hyderabad: India’s electric mobility revolution appears to be picking up speed, and Olectra Greentech is making sure it has a front-row seat—and perhaps the driver’s seat too. The company has reported a strong financial performance for FY 2025-26, posting its highest-ever annual electric vehicle deliveries and registering healthy growth across key financial metrics.

Olectra Greentech closed the fiscal year with revenue of ₹2,312.17 crore, marking a robust 28% year-on-year growth, driven by increased electric bus deliveries, strong customer demand and improved operational efficiency.

The company delivered 1,280 electric vehicles during FY26, the highest annual delivery figure in its history since inception. As India’s cities continue their transition toward cleaner public transportation, Olectra’s growing fleet presence is helping electric buses become an increasingly familiar sight on roads across the country.

Profitability also remained strong. EBITDA rose 27% year-on-year to ₹352.28 crore, while Profit After Tax (PAT) increased 29% to ₹179.53 crore, reflecting disciplined execution and scale benefits.

Q4 Performance Accelerates

The final quarter of FY26 proved particularly rewarding for the Hyderabad-based electric mobility player.

Revenue for Q4 surged 44% to ₹644.72 crore, compared to the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA jumped an impressive 82% to ₹106.20 crore, while PAT skyrocketed 177% to ₹57.39 crore, highlighting stronger operational leverage and improving margins.

If FY26 was a marathon, Olectra certainly chose to sprint through the finish line.

Energy Division Adds Extra Charge

Beyond electric mobility, Olectra’s Energy Division also delivered encouraging results, recording nearly double the growth achieved in the previous year. The performance underscores the company’s strategy of building a diversified clean-energy ecosystem rather than relying solely on vehicle sales.

As of March 31, 2026, Olectra’s cumulative electric vehicle deliveries reached 3,998 units, bringing the company within touching distance of the 4,000-unit milestone.

Even more significantly, the company ended the year with an order book of 10,161 electric vehicles, providing strong revenue visibility and a substantial pipeline for future growth.

Management Confident About Next Phase

Commenting on the results, Mahesh Babu, Managing Director of Olectra Greentech Ltd., said the company’s performance reflects its continued focus on sustainable and profitable growth across both mobility and energy businesses.

He noted that consistent execution, customer commitment and operational discipline helped the company maintain momentum despite challenging global conditions. He also highlighted the strong growth in the Energy Division as a key pillar supporting Olectra’s long-term expansion strategy.

Outlook

With government-backed electrification initiatives gaining momentum, public transport agencies increasingly adopting electric buses and a record order book in hand, Olectra appears well-positioned for another growth phase.

For now, India’s EV bus sector continues to gather passengers, and Olectra seems determined to ensure that growth journey remains fully charged.
