Gurugram: It seems Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) had more reasons than just Dussehra and Diwali to celebrate this October — 69,894 of them, to be exact! The carmaker clocked a total of 69,894 units in sales for October 2025, lighting up the festive season with both domestic and export fireworks.
With 53,792 units sold domestically and 16,102 units shipped abroad, Hyundai not only strengthened its hold on the Indian market but also waved proudly from global shores, registering an 11% year-on-year export growth.
SUVs That Stole the Show
If there were an award for “Most Popular Festive Pair,” it would easily go to the Hyundai Creta and Venue, which together sold 30,119 units—their second-highest monthly total ever. While the Creta continues to be India’s favorite urban SUV, the Venue proved once again that big things come in compact packages.
Leadership Comments – Straight from the Driver’s Seat
Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of HMIL, said with visible pride (and possibly a celebratory ladoo in hand):
“October 2025 was a month driven by festivals and GST 2.0’s positive impact. We saw strong consumer enthusiasm, especially for our SUV power duo — Creta and Venue. With the all-new Venue just around the corner, bookings are already setting off fireworks. We’re confident it’ll redefine benchmarks in design, technology, and safety in its segment.”
Hyundai’s festive momentum shows no sign of slowing down. With the all-new Venue ready to roll out soon and consumer optimism fuelled by GST 2.0 reforms, the automaker is clearly gearing up for a blockbuster finish to 2025.
After all, when your SUVs are selling like Diwali sweets and your exports are soaring higher than fireworks, you know the season — and the sales chart — is lit!
