Škoda Throws a 25-Year Party in India — Brings Cake, Confetti, and Three Limited Edition Cars

Mumbai — Škoda Auto India has decided that birthdays are too special for just balloons and cake — they deserve cars with 360-degree cameras, puddle lamps, and enough garnishes to make an Italian chef blush. Celebrating a milestone 25 years in India (and a whopping 130 years globally), the Czech automaker has unveiled Limited Editions of its best-sellers — the Kushaq, Slavia, and its newest SUV, the Kylaq — all wearing special 25th Anniversary badging and dripping with premium touches.

If you’ve been thinking “Why should my car feel left out of the party?”, Škoda’s answer is a complimentary accessories kit. That means 360-degree cameras so you can reverse like a pro, underbody lighting to make parking lots your personal runway, and door puddle lamps for when your shoes deserve a red-carpet moment.

Monte Carlo Meets Milestone
The Kushaq Monte Carlo Limited Edition arrives in either Deep Black with red accents or Tornado Red with black accents — a colour swap that feels like Škoda’s way of saying, “Why not both?” There’s also a fog lamp garnish, trunk garnish, and lower door garnish — because when you’re 25, accessorising is mandatory.

The Slavia Monte Carlo Limited Edition follows suit, getting the same two-tone drama and the same celebratory kit. Essentially, it’s Škoda’s ‘his and hers’ approach to sporty sedans and SUVs.

Kylaq Joins the Club
The Kylaq, Škoda’s baby SUV, isn’t skipping the party either. The Limited Edition appears in seven body colours, gets the same 25th Anniversary badging, and, in a move purists will appreciate, sticks to a six-speed manual gearbox — because some gifts are meant to be unwrapped slowly.

Limited Means Limited
Only 500 units each of the Kushaq, Slavia, and Kylaq Limited Editions will be made. Kushaq and Slavia get both 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engines (with MT/AT or DSG options), while the Kylaq sticks to the trusty 1.0 TSI MT.

Brand Director Ashish Gupta summed up the sentiment best: “Here’s to the past, the present, and the exciting road ahead.” And if that road happens to be lit up by underbody lights and puddle lamps, well — that’s just how Škoda rolls.
