Unprecedented Growth Fueled by Strategic Expansion and Unmatched Model Success

Kia India, the rising star in the Indian mass-premium automotive sector, has reached a groundbreaking milestone, delivering a record 255,038 vehicles in 2024—a 6% rise from the 240,919 units sold in 2023. This achievement cements the company’s position as one of the industry’s fastest-growing players.

Expanding Horizons: Strengthening Roots Across India

Kia India has shown an unwavering commitment to expanding its footprint, particularly in Tier-I and Tier-II cities. Over the past year, the company inaugurated 126 new dealerships and 36 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) outlets, growing its nationwide network to 700 touchpoints across 301 cities. This comprehensive expansion strategy reflects Kia’s dedication to ensuring that its vehicles are accessible to customers in every corner of the country.

Model Triumphs: Sonet Leads the Charge

At the forefront of Kia’s success is the Sonet, which saw an impressive 102,337 units delivered, reaffirming its dominance in the fiercely competitive sub-compact SUV segment. The Seltos and Carens also played pivotal roles, achieving robust sales figures and strengthening Kia India’s position in their respective categories.

Meanwhile, the luxury Carnival Limousine shattered expectations with over 563 units delivered within just two months of its 2024 launch, underscoring the growing demand for premium offerings. Kia’s influence wasn’t limited to domestic markets—exports totaled 25,404 units, highlighting the global appeal of its innovative lineup.

Vision for the Future: Syros and Beyond

Hailing 2024 as a transformational year, Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, expressed his pride and optimism. “Our efforts to streamline timely deliveries and enhance customer experiences have not only driven this year’s success but also laid the groundwork for sustained growth,” he stated.

Looking ahead to 2025, Kia is set to unveil the much-anticipated Syros. Brar emphasized its potential to “redefine the Indian automotive landscape,” signaling the company’s ambition to continue breaking barriers and setting new benchmarks in innovation and performance.

A New Era for Kia India

With its record-breaking performance in 2024, Kia India has proven its ability to thrive in an intensely competitive market. As it looks forward to 2025, the brand’s strategic focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and market expansion promises to further elevate its standing as a leading force in the automotive industry.
