New Delhi – Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), a leader in premium automotive manufacturing, recorded strong sales in October 2024, totaling 10,080 units. Domestic sales contributed 5,546 units, while exports added another 4,534 units to the tally, marking a significant uptick in demand.
Reflecting on the month’s performance, Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at HCIL, highlighted the positive impact of India’s festive season, with Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Dhanteras, and Diwali celebrated in October. “The festive sales momentum revitalized demand,” Behl noted, pointing out how consumer enthusiasm helped offset a previously muted period for the industry. He emphasized Honda’s strategic alignment of production and inventory to meet rising demand, expressing optimism about sustaining this momentum in the coming months.
This growth builds on Honda’s October 2023 numbers, when the company achieved 9,400 domestic sales and exported 3,683 units, showing a year-over-year improvement in both markets.
