Turin – Ram Trucks has officially introduced the new Ram 1500 to European markets, offering a bold combination of advanced technology, improved fuel efficiency, and a refined design. The new Ram 1500 sets a high benchmark with its powerful 3.0-liter Hurricane and Hurricane High Output turbocharged engines, boasting enhanced durability, towing capacity, and efficiency.
This latest model redefines versatility, delivering a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes and a payload of 1 tonne, making it an ideal option for both work and leisure. With its class-exclusive Multifunction Tailgate and the largest cargo bed in its class, the Ram 1500 further enhances functionality for European truck enthusiasts. A 2-kW onboard power inverter with dual outlets and a redesigned, forward-leaning grille also add to its dynamic design and usability.
Tech-Forward Interior and Safety Features
Inside, the Ram 1500 stands out with a suite of technological upgrades. It now offers the most screen coverage in its class, highlighted by a 14.5-inch touchscreen and a segment-first 10.25-inch passenger screen. The advanced Uconnect 5 system enhances the driving experience with faster response times and a fully customizable interface. For safety, the truck includes more than 100 features, from Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning to Drowsy Driver Detection.
European Strategy and Future Plans
Ram’s European strategy goes beyond just trucks, with an expanding official importer network and services tailored for local markets. Alongside the new Ram 1500, the brand plans to introduce the all-electric Ram 1500 REV by 2025, boasting impressive towing and range capabilities to meet Europe’s growing demand for electric vehicles.
Starting at €62,000 (INR 57.60 lakh), the Ram 1500 offers European buyers a premium experience with American toughness, setting a new standard in the full-size pickup segment.
