Gurugram – MG Motor India, a subsidiary of JSW, has announced that bookings for its much-anticipated MG Windsor will officially open on October 3, 2024, starting at 7:30 AM. Car enthusiasts can reserve their Windsor for a nominal booking amount of INR 11,000, either by visiting their nearest MG dealership or through the convenience of the MG Motor India website.
The MG Windsor, heralded as India’s first Intelligent Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV), marries the elegance of a sedan with the power and space of an SUV. With its sleek, aerodynamic design and luxury interiors, the Windsor promises to deliver both style and comfort, further enhanced by its cutting-edge smart connectivity, advanced safety features, and multiple driving modes.
Starting at an introductory price of INR 9.99 lakh under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) program, the Windsor offers flexible ownership with a pay-per-kilometer model priced at INR 3.5 per kilometer. Buyers also have the option for outright purchase, with prices beginning at INR 13,49,800 (ex-showroom).
The Windsor is equipped with a 38 kWh IP67-certified Li-ion battery, ensuring safety and durability. Offering a powerful 100KW (136 PS) output and 200Nm of torque, this electric vehicle delivers a certified driving range of 332 kilometers on a single charge, with four driving modes—Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport—catering to various driving preferences.
Available in three variants—Excite, Exclusive, and Essence—the Windsor also comes in a choice of four eye-catching colors: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.
