The VinFast VF 8 clinched awards in the categories of “Best Child Occupant Protection,” “Best Safety Assist,” “Best Overall,” “Best Motorcyclist Safety,” and “Best SUV.” Competing against over 15 major automakers in ASEAN, VinFast’s near-clean sweep highlights its dedication to safety and excellence.

The “Best Child Occupant Protection” award was conferred upon the VF 8 for its superior performance in frontal and side impact tests, achieving maximum scores. Additionally, the SUV excelled in the “Best Safety Assist” category, praised for its advanced safety technologies including Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
The VF 8 also triumphed in the “Best Overall” and “Best Motorcyclist Safety” categories, thanks to its high scores in areas like AEB and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). ASEAN NCAP highlighted the SUV’s exceptional performance of Advanced Safety Assist Technologies, which earned a perfect rating.
