Nissan Magnite and Gravite Get Free CNG Kit Offer Worth Up to ₹85,999 for Festive Season

Gurugram: Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) has announced a limited-period festive offer providing CNG retrofitment at no additional cost on select variants of the Nissan Magnite and Gravite. Valid until November 16, 2026, the initiative allows eligible customers to save up to ₹85,999 on CNG conversion, as the Japanese automaker seeks to make alternative-fuel mobility more affordable for Indian families.

Under the promotional scheme, customers purchasing eligible Nissan Magnite variants can receive CNG retrofitment worth ₹74,999 without paying an additional charge. Buyers of qualifying Nissan Gravite variants will receive the same benefit on a retrofitment package valued at ₹85,999.

The offer applies exclusively to eligible non-turbo variants of the Magnite, excluding the Visia MT, Visia EZ-Shift and Visia+ MT. For the Gravite, the benefit is restricted to eligible Tekna variants.

Government-Approved CNG Kits Come With Three-Year Warranty

Nissan has confirmed that the CNG retrofitment kits are government-approved and supported by a third-party warranty covering three years or 1,00,000 kilometres, in addition to the vehicles’ standard product warranty.

The arrangement provides customers with additional warranty coverage for the retrofitment system while allowing them to choose CNG-powered motoring without the usual upfront conversion expense.

Although CNG has traditionally appealed to cost-conscious motorists, the initial expense of installing a retrofitment kit can influence purchasing decisions. By absorbing that cost on selected vehicles, Nissan is attempting to remove one of the financial considerations associated with adopting the alternative fuel.

Nissan Gravite Features Twin-Cylinder CNG Configuration

One of the notable technical aspects of the Nissan Gravite is its smart twin-cylinder CNG arrangement, which uses two 25-litre cylinders instead of a single conventional cylinder.

Described by Nissan as a segment-first solution, the configuration is designed to preserve the Gravite’s seven-seater flexibility and everyday practicality.

The twin-cylinder approach is particularly relevant for family-oriented vehicles, where passenger accommodation and usable luggage space are important considerations. After all, a seven-seater is considerably more useful when its fuel system does not dictate the family’s travel arrangements.

Nissan says the arrangement is intended to maintain the vehicle’s everyday usability while providing customers with an alternative to conventional petrol-only operation.

Festive Offer Available Until November 16

The promotional benefit is available for a limited period, with November 16, 2026, established as the final date of the offer.

Customers considering the Magnite or Gravite will need to select an eligible variant to qualify for the complimentary retrofitment. The company has not extended the announced benefit to the entire variant line-up of either model.

The initiative forms part of Nissan’s broader effort to position its vehicles as practical mobility options for Indian households. The company has also highlighted family travel and cultural diversity in its Gravite launch film, reinforcing the model’s family-focused positioning.

CNG Affordability Becomes a Key Consideration

The announcement comes as purchase costs and everyday running expenses remain important considerations for Indian car buyers, particularly those seeking vehicles for regular commuting and family use.

For Nissan, offering CNG retrofitment without an additional upfront charge provides another way to make the Magnite and Gravite attractive to budget-conscious customers, without introducing a separate promotional vehicle variant.

While the actual savings from CNG operation will depend on fuel prices, driving patterns and usage, the removal of retrofitment charges represents an immediate financial benefit for eligible buyers.

Ultimately, Nissan’s festive initiative illustrates how automakers can use alternative-fuel options and targeted purchase incentives to address affordability concerns. For customers considering CNG mobility, the offer shifts the decision away from the initial conversion expense and towards the vehicle’s longer-term practicality and operating costs.
