Kia India is driving into December with a wide grin on its signature tiger nose grille. The brand has just clocked its best-ever November performance since landing in India, selling 25,489 units — a strong 24% year-on-year growth over November 2024’s 20,600 units. Clearly, the festive season didn’t just end with sweets; it extended right into showrooms.
The Festive Tailwind and a GST Turbo Boost
After its record-breaking October 2025, Kia seems to have decided to keep the foot firmly on the throttle. Analysts are calling it a “perfect blend of policy and party,” with GST reforms lowering the effective burden on car buyers and a post-festive sales surge giving dealerships reason to smile wider than the Sonet’s LED DRLs.
Year-to-date (YTD) domestic sales have reached an impressive 261,627 units, up from 236,043 units last year — proving that India’s love affair with Kia isn’t just a fling.
Sonet Leads the Pack, Others Cruise Smoothly
The Kia Sonet was the rockstar of November, recording over 30% growth compared to last year and continuing to charm both first-time buyers and tech-savvy urbanites alike. The Seltos, Carens Clavis, and its all-electric twin, Carens Clavis EV, also put up a strong show, ensuring Kia’s showroom floors stayed busy all month.
Kia’s Comment — Confidence in the Driver’s Seat
“At Kia, we remain committed to delivering premium mobility experiences that resonate with evolving Indian aspirations,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India. He added that the record performance is a clear reflection of the brand’s growing affinity among Indian consumers and the positive policy environment supporting market sentiment.
The Road Ahead — Premium and Poised
As 2025 draws to a close, Kia India seems perfectly geared up for another record-setting year. With an expanding portfolio, clever pricing, and that trademark flair for blending practicality with panache, the brand looks ready to cruise confidently into 2026.
And just to prove its global flair isn’t confined to domestic roads, Kia India exported 3,004 units in November, taking total YTD exports to 25,279 units — because even overseas, it seems, people can’t resist a stylish Kia.
