BMW i7 Gets Uniform Pricing in India—Because Even Luxury Shouldn’t Suffer from Address Issues

Gurugram, 27 May 2025: In a move that’s as electrifying as the car itself, BMW India has rolled out a nation-wide pricing reform for its flagship electric limousine, the BMW i7, ensuring customers pay the same amount—whether they’re cruising Delhi’s boulevards or coasting down Marine Drive. Yes, you read that right. The price tag no longer comes with a postcode penalty.

The newly introduced uniform pricing offer sees BMW India covering the registration charges, making the i7 the first luxury EV that doesn’t just break speed records—it breaks bureaucratic ones too. The showroom price remains INR 2.05 crore, but the weight of registration red tape is now shouldered by the brand itself. All customers have to worry about is which side of the rear seat to nap in.

“Electric mobility isn’t just about charging batteries; it’s about charging forward with innovation and customer centricity,” said Vikram Pawah, President and CEO, BMW Group India, while possibly reclining in the i7’s Executive Lounge Seat with a neck massage in progress.

The i7, a car that moonlights as a luxury lounge, boasts BMW Crystal Headlights, Iconic Glow kidney grille (yes, it glows), and a rear cabin experience so plush it might make five-star suites feel inadequate. With a BMW Theatre Screen for rear passengers and seats that recline to a power-nap-friendly 42.5 degrees, the i7 doesn’t just transport you—it pampers you.

Performance-wise, the BMW i7 eDrive50 is no slouch either. Its 449 hp electric motor flings the limousine from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, which is faster than most people can say “registration surcharge.” With a range of up to 603 km (WLTP), it’s also more committed than some long-distance relationships.

Also onboard is every digital and driver aid one could ask for: augmented navigation, remote parking via smartphone, Amazon Fire TV, and even a Reversing Assistant—because turning a two-crore car around manually is simply passé.

BMW i7 is now a “no surprises” affair at the dealership—unless you’re surprised by how much you enjoy a full-body massage while watching Netflix in the back seat. As of today, your pin code no longer decides your price tag. Welcome to a truly united state of luxury.
