Kia India Accelerates Ahead: March 2025 Sales Surge 19.3%, Powered by Syros Debut

New Delhi: Kia India has wrapped up March 2025 on a high note, clocking an impressive 25,525 units in domestic sales—a robust 19.3% year-on-year growth compared to 21,400 units in the same month last year. The surge not only highlights strong market demand but also reinforces the automaker’s position as a leading player in the mass-premium segment.

Leading the sales charts was the ever-popular Sonet, contributing 30% of the total monthly sales. It was followed by the Seltos (26%), Carens (22%), and the newly launched Syros, which made an impressive entry by capturing 20% of March sales.

Quarterly and Annual Gains Reflect Growth Momentum

Kia India’s performance for Q1 2025 has been equally remarkable, with total sales reaching 75,576 units—a 15.6% increase over Q1 2024. On an annual scale, the automaker reported sales of 2,55,207 units in FY 2024-25, marking a steady 4% growth from 2,45,634 units the previous fiscal year.

In the export arena, Kia maintained its global momentum, shipping 26,892 units overseas and further strengthening its international footprint.

Kia Syros: A Star is Born

The newly introduced Kia Syros has turned heads with a remarkable debut, clocking 15,986 units sold since its launch earlier this quarter. Its swift success indicates Kia’s deep understanding of Indian consumer preferences and its ability to translate that insight into a market-ready offering.

Leadership Speaks

Commenting on the company’s performance, Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. VP and Head of Sales and Marketing, said:
“Our strong sales growth is a testament to the trust our customers have in Kia’s products and our commitment to delivering world-class mobility solutions. The overwhelming response to the Kia Syros within just two months of its launch reaffirms our understanding of evolving consumer preferences and our ability to cater to them effectively.”

He further emphasized Kia’s focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth:
“As we continue to expand our presence and strengthen our portfolio, we remain focused on innovation, quality and customer satisfaction. With this momentum, we are confident of further solidifying Kia’s position as one of India’s most loved auto brands.”

On the Road Ahead

With a compelling product mix, rising demand, and consistent performance across all metrics, Kia India is set to continue its upward trajectory through 2025. The successful launch of the Syros, coupled with strong sales from existing models, positions the brand well for future growth in a competitive Indian automotive landscape.
