Nissan Rolls Out Extended Flood Assistance Program for Indian Customers

Automaker offers free roadside aid, fee waivers, and discounts for flood-affected vehicles until September 30th, 2024.

Gurugram, September 9, 2024 – In response to the devastating floods affecting regions across India, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has extended its comprehensive support program for customers facing vehicle damages. The initiative, now running until September 30, 2024, aims to alleviate the challenges faced by flood-hit car owners by providing a suite of assistance services.

Nissan has set up a specialized helpdesk to support customers whose vehicles have been impacted by the floods. As part of this effort, the automaker will offer free Roadside Assistance (RSA), which includes towing services to the nearest Nissan-authorized workshop. Additionally, Nissan will waive up to INR 1,000 in insurance claim processing fees for those repairing flood-affected vehicles.

“We recognize the hardships our customers are experiencing due to the ongoing floods,” said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. “Our priority is to ensure their safety and provide timely assistance. Extending these support measures allows us to be there for our customers, helping them get their vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.”

In addition to RSA and fee waivers, Nissan is offering a 10% discount on engine oil, oil filter replacements, and floor carpet replacements for flood-damaged vehicles. Customers can also benefit from a comprehensive vehicle health checkup at authorized Nissan service centers. These offers are available through the end of September.

For assistance, customers can contact the dedicated helpdesk at 1800 209 3456 or visit their nearest Nissan Authorized Service Workshop.

Through these extended measures, Nissan aims to provide immediate relief and essential support to customers grappling with the aftermath of the severe floods.
