Kia Strengthens South Indian Presence with New Kerala Dealerships

Aiming for 700 Touchpoints by 2024, Kia Expands Reach in Key Southern Markets

New Delhi: Kia India, a prominent player in the premium automobile sector, has announced the launch of seven new dealerships in Kerala, further solidifying its presence in the southern region. This strategic expansion brings the total number of Kia touchpoints in Kerala to 30, underscoring the brand’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and customer experience across the state.

With the latest additions, Kia now boasts 178 touchpoints across South India, covering Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Pondicherry. This region has emerged as the second-largest market for Kia, trailing only behind the North in terms of dealership density. The company’s expansion efforts are carefully planned, with dealerships positioned in key locations to serve both local customers and those in neighboring areas.

Kia India is not stopping there; the automaker has set its sights on achieving over 700 touchpoints nationwide by the end of 2024. This ambitious goal is part of Kia’s broader strategy to ensure that its next-generation mobility solutions are within easy reach for customers across the country.

Commenting on the expansion, Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and National Head of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, emphasized the importance of the southern market in the company’s growth strategy. “South India is a crucial market for Kia, and expanding our touchpoints here reflects our dedication to growth and innovation. Our focus is not just on short-term gains, but on establishing a strong foundation that supports long-term growth while upholding the values our customers trust.”

In addition to new car sales, Kia India is also bolstering its pre-owned car business in the region. The company operates 24 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) outlets in South India, offering customers the opportunity to buy, sell, and exchange pre-owned Kia vehicles. These vehicles undergo a rigorous 175-point quality check, ensuring that customers receive only the highest quality used cars.

With this expansion, Kia India continues to reinforce its presence in South India, driving forward with a vision of widespread accessibility and sustained customer trust.
