Mumbai, June 07, 2024 – Tata Motors, India’s foremost automotive manufacturer, has officially launched the Altroz Racer, an exciting new variant of their premium hatchback. This latest offering amplifies the performance quotient of the Altroz, bringing in a 1.2 L Turbo petrol engine that promises a thrilling drive with 120 Ps @ 5500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque between 1750 to 4000 rpm.
The Altroz Racer is designed to appeal to car enthusiasts with its race car-inspired exterior and interior aesthetics, coupled with advanced features and a sporty exhaust note. As the top-tier model in the Altroz lineup, the Racer comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six airbags as standard. It also boasts a 6-speed manual transmission, making it the only hatchback in its class to offer such a feature, ensuring dynamic performance in both city and highway driving conditions.
Available in three distinct variants (R1, R2, and R3) and a choice of three striking colors (Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White), the Altroz Racer is set to redefine sporty hatchbacks. Additionally, Tata Motors has expanded the Altroz range with two new variants (XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX) and an upgraded XZ+OS variant, available across petrol manual, petrol DCA, diesel, and CNG powertrains.
