Hyundai Launches Engaging ‘Dil Mein Bas Jaye Exter’ Campaign to Spotlight its Sporty SUV

Gurugram, May 3, 2024 – Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) today unveiled its dynamic new advertising campaign, ‘Dil Mein Bas Jaye Exter’, for the recently launched sporty SUV, the Hyundai Exter. Designed to captivate and engage, this multi-channel initiative features a series of six engaging films that showcase the Exter’s unique blend of safety, convenience, and comfort.

The TV commercials are centered around ‘Surya’, a character who personifies the Exter’s attributes in a relatable and humorous manner. Each film is tailored with regional nuances to connect deeply with audiences across various Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and more, ensuring the campaign’s appeal is broad and inclusive.

Virat Khullar, AVP & Vertical Head, Marketing at Hyundai Motor India, emphasized the innovative spirit of the campaign, stating, “With the ‘Dil Mein Bas Jaye Exter’ campaign, we aim to enhance brand recall and deepen consumer engagement through narratives that resonate with our diverse customer base.”

In addition to traditional media, the campaign extends to digital platforms with tailored content that targets the Gen Z demographic, reinforcing the SUV’s market presence through strategic use of social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

Since its debut in 2023, the Hyundai Exter has received overwhelming market response, achieving over 100,000 bookings and capturing a significant 34% market share in its segment. The SUV’s appeal is particularly strong among first-time car buyers, with over 38% of its customers in the 18-29 age group.

Hyundai’s ‘Dil Mein Bas Jaye Exter’ campaign reflects the company’s commitment to innovative marketing and customer satisfaction. The campaign aims not only to drive sales but also to build a strong brand connection with its audience, promising a significant boost in visibility and engagement for the brand.
