This latest addition, revealed under the shroud of an April 8 total solar eclipse, introduces a striking aesthetic upgrade to the Bronco Raptor’s renowned off-road prowess. The debut, set against the backdrop of a completely darkened sky, took place at the Bronco Off-Roadeo in Austin, Texas, captivating 150 Bronco enthusiasts gathered for the spectacle.
Ford’s 2024 Bronco Raptor, already celebrated for its extreme desert capabilities and victorious Baja 1000 pedigree, now offers enthusiasts the Black Appearance Package. This option marries the vehicle’s rugged functionality with a distinctively dark style that the Bronco badge alone can command. The package features a harmonious blend of Shadow and Matte black details, from a Shadow Black painted roof and matching mirror caps to a painted roll bar and fender flares that sharply contrast the Raptor’s vibrant color offerings. Adding to the aesthetic, the vehicle boasts a Matte Black steel bumper, skid plate, and tow hooks, responding to a trend among current Bronco Raptor owners who’ve personalized their skid plates with a similar finish.
Echoing the design language of the sixth-generation concept Bronco SUVs, the Shadow Black painted roll bar and the attention to detail in the Black Appearance Package’s styling cues are a nod to the vehicle’s storied heritage.
