Honda’s Prologue to the Electric Future: Snags $7,500 Tax Credit, Promises Jolts of Joy and a Charged Up Wallet

Torrance, CA, March 7, 2024 – Honda sparks excitement with the electrifying announcement that its 2024 Prologue, an all-electric SUV, is now supercharged with a $7,500 (INR 6.20 lakh) U.S. EV tax credit. The Prologue is rolling into dealerships with a bang, offering a blend of style, sportiness, and savvy pricing, starting from $39,900 to $50,400 (INR 33.02 lakh – INR 41.72 lakh). This move is set to plug Honda firmly into the EV market sweet spot and charge up customer demand.

Lance Woelfer, Honda’s assistant vice president of National Auto Sales, couldn’t hide his electric enthusiasm. “It’s a bright day for future Honda drivers,” he said. “The Prologue not only brings a spark of style and sportiness to the EV market but also offers a financial ‘high-voltage’ incentive that will make our customers’ wallets buzz with joy.”

As it gears up to grace Honda showrooms in the forthcoming weeks, the Prologue is boasting an impressive EPA range rating of 296 miles. Honda is driving ahead, offering comprehensive charging solutions to ensure that new EV buyers are confidently powered up for the road ahead.

The Prologue’s architecture is a bolt of brilliance, featuring multi-link front and rear suspensions refined by Honda’s engineering wizards. With models starting at 212 hp and 236 lb.-ft. of torque, the Prologue promises a ride that’s as smooth as it is swift. The Elite trim, meanwhile, offers all-wheel drive with a dual-motor setup, zapping from 0 to 60 with 288 hp and 333 lb.-ft. of torque.

Every Prologue comes loaded with features that make every drive a joyride, including 19-inch alloy wheels, Google built-in, wireless connectivity for all your devices, and a 10-way power driver seat for ultimate comfort.

Honda is making recharging as convenient as a pit stop, with DC fast charging capabilities that add 65 miles of range in roughly 10 minutes. Prologue owners will enjoy access to America’s vast public fast charging networks, along with charging credits across multiple networks – a first in the automotive industry.

Whether you’re at home or on the move, Honda ensures you’re never far from a power boost. With the HondaLink Smartphone App, finding a charging station, paying for a charge, and managing credits is just a tap away.

As Honda turns the page to its electric future, the 2024 Prologue is more than just a car; it’s a manifesto on wheels, promising a greener, more electrifying journey ahead. Ready to ride the lightning? Honda’s Prologue is here to lead the charge.
