Hyundai Ioniq 5 Dazzles with New Shades of Sustainability and Sophistication, Bookings Open

In a significant move that marries luxury with sustainability, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) today unveiled an expansion in the colour palette of its flagship all-electric SUV, the Hyundai Ioniq 5. This futuristic vehicle, celebrated for setting new benchmarks in the electric vehicle (EV) domain, now shimmers in Titan Grey, adding to the existing array of Gravity Gold Matte, Optic White, and Midnight Black Pearl. This enhancement is accompanied by the introduction of an opulent Obsidian Black interior, supplementing the previously available Dark Pebble Grey, thereby elevating the Ioniq 5’s sophistication to unprecedented levels.

Positioned at the forefront of Hyundai’s innovative endeavors, the Ioniq 5 is built on the cutting-edge Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), offering an exceptional fast-charging capability, extensive driving range, unparalleled interior space, and agile handling. The latest colour innovations are presented to customers without any increase in price, underscoring Hyundai’s commitment to delivering value alongside luxury and environmental responsibility.

Speaking from Gurugram on April 8, 2024, Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., expressed the company’s pride in leading the charge towards smart mobility solutions. “Hyundai Ioniq 5 has not only set new benchmarks within the EV landscape but has also been warmly received by our customers, as evidenced by its significant adoption with more than 1,400 units finding homes across India,” stated Garg. He further emphasized Hyundai’s dedication to contributing towards a better tomorrow, with the expanded colour options expected to continue satisfying and exceeding customer expectations.

This initiative reflects Hyundai’s broader ambition to cater to diverse customer needs and reinforce its standing as a provider of smart mobility solutions. With the Hyundai Ioniq 5 now available in four exterior and two interior colours, the company invites prospective customers to experience this blend of performance, sustainability, and luxury firsthand. The vehicle can be booked with an initial amount of INR 1,00,000 through Hyundai’s Direct to Customer (D2C) portal, ensuring a seamless purchase experience for all.
