Kalyan Jewellers’ Boss Dazzles Kerala with a Trio of Rolls-Royce Cullinans Worth ₹36 Crore!

In a display of unparalleled opulence, the garage of Kalyan Jewellers in Thrissur, Kerala, witnessed an extraordinary event that’s revving up conversations across India. The esteemed owner of Kalyan Jewellers, a renowned Indian jewelry chain, added not one, but three Rolls-Royce Cullinans to their already impressive collection of luxury vehicles, totaling an eye-watering INR 36 crore.

The delivery, executed flawlessly by the Rolls-Royce dealership in Chennai, marks one of the most extravagant car deliveries in India to date. The trio of Cullinans, each boasting a price tag of around INR 12 crore, includes a Black Badge model in a striking Magma Red and two standard variants in elegant Midnight Sapphire and Diamond Black.

This lavish acquisition is not the first for the jewelry mogul, whose garage already houses an impressive fleet of 12 Rolls-Royces, including three Rolls-Royce Phantoms. It’s a clear testament to the extraordinary success of Kalyan Jewellers, founded in 1993 by T.S. Kalyanaraman, who boasts a net worth of $2.9 billion (INR 24,000 crore).

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan, named after the largest gem-quality rough diamond ever discovered, is the brand’s pioneering all-wheel-drive luxury SUV. It features a powerhouse twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine, delivering 591 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 250 kmph. The Black Badge edition, a special performance-based model, dazzles with its all-black exterior, including the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy, and a carbon fibre-laden interior.

As Kalyan Jewellers continues to sparkle in the Indian jewelry market with an approximate company worth of INR 17,000 crore and a hefty advertising budget of ₹90 crore, their latest vehicular gems have certainly set a new benchmark in luxury automotive acquisitions in India.
