Since its inception in 1998, New Holland has been a torchbearer in revolutionizing the Indian agricultural sector with its groundbreaking technologies.
This quarter-century journey of New Holland in India is marked by pioneering initiatives, notably in baling techniques for crop residue, securing its position as a market leader in this domain. In honor of this anniversary, the company showcased an impressive lineup of farm machinery at its state-of-the-art Greater Noida manufacturing plant, which included advanced tractors, combine harvesters, and balers. Highlighting its commitment to innovation, CNH also revealed its local R&D achievements, featuring precision technology like telematics and software applications, developed and integrated in India.

The manufacturing facility in Greater Noida is among the most advanced tractor plants in India, boasting an annual production capacity of over 60,000 units. Operating under the CNH Business System, it exemplifies efficiency, agility, and safety, aligning with India’s Make-in-India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives. This plant recently celebrated the production of over 6.7 lakh tractors, a testament to its success in both domestic and international markets.
CNH India is also leading in sustainability efforts. The Greater Noida plant has made significant strides in reducing its carbon footprint, cutting down CO2 emissions by approximately 26,000 tons over the past decade. Embracing renewable energy, the plant has installed solar panels that supply about 25% of its energy needs. Additionally, the adoption of the Miyawaki Project Methodology has led to the planting of over 10,000 trees across 3,000 square meters.
